BUILT 2019 (Wisdom House secondary school initiative)



WISDOM HOUSE is a non-governmental group geared towards spreading the enhancing educational essence in the nooks and crannies of secondary schools, establishing their feet in God and making them agents of societal transformation via quiz, debate and empowering them via entrepreneurship skills.

In a bid to fulfill this mandate, we organize a gathering of all secondary school students tagged BUILT in a region that gathers students together were they learn entrepreneurship skills, compete with fellow secondary students in debates and competition and finally are schooled to pray and seek God.

For the First time, wisdom house took her vision into the city of Awka Anambra State on the 20th of September 2019. The program was held at Saint Mary's Catholic Church Eke-Awka, Anambra State which hosted about 8 schools and over 80 participants. It started at about 1pm and ended by 5pm. The program featured quiz, debates and skill acquisition. Some skills such as Catering Services, leather works, and Soapmaking were taught also.

The winners of the quiz(Junior Secondary only) were;
St.marys college(overall winner)
St.John of God(1st runner up)
Elites Int'l(2nd runner up)

For the Debate competition the winners include:
Girls Secondary school Awka(overall winner)
Comprehensive Secondary school Nawfia(1st Runner up)
Community Secondary School Okupno(2nd Runner up)

The program rounded up with a word charge and prayer session with Apostle ernest paul of Christ lectures evangelical fellowship. Many souls were won and baptized in the holyghost.

Also, 5 students were awarded a term's scholarship by one of the sponsors of the program and students all went home rejoicing.
